BKT hires Robinson as VP

Akron, Ohio – BKT USA Inc. has hired industry veteran Brian Robinson as vice president, responsible for enhancing BKT’s OE and replacement sales in the US.

Robinson brings 24 years’ experience to his new job. Most recently he was director of business development/general manager for American Tire Distributors Inc., based in Totowa, New Jersey, according to his LinkedIn page. Prior to that he held sales positions with Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. for three years.

“Brian is enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and a dynamic leader with accomplished experience,” said Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director of BKT.

A graduate of San Jose State, Robinson will join BKT’s North American team in Akron. His industry resume includes experience in areas such as sales, team development, operations, profit/loss management, strategic planning, marketing, profitability and customer experience, BKT said.
