Ramat-Hasharon, Israel - Alex Coggi, former general manager of Goodyear Agricultural and Industrial Tires for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has joined Pelmar Engineering Italia SRL as director of business development, Pelmar has announced.
“Alex Coggi is a very important addition to the management of PEI in particular, and the Pelmar International Group, in general, ” said Jacob Peled, executive chairman of Pelmar Engineering Ltd - the parent company of the Pelmar Group.
The former Goodyear executive's knowledge and experience "will certainly contribute to the continued growth and expansion of PEI," the Pelmar boss added.
Coggi will assume part of the commercial and managerial responsibilities of Pino Cappellazzo, the former CEO of PEI and its driving force, who passed away suddenly last year.
Coggi will also develop PEI’s business related to the tire and rubber "sophisticated equipment and systems which complement the technology and engineering development activity, which constitutes the backbone of PEI," said the Pelmar statement.
