Dublin – Gross profit levels in the US carbon black manufacturing industry reached 41.36 percent on revenues of $2.4 billion (€2.23 billion), market reports supplier said Research and Markets (R&M) 26 March.
The figures are from a new Supplier Relations US LLC study, titled ‘Carbon Black Manufacturing Industry in the US and its International Trade’ – now available from Dublin-based R&M.
The report estimates that the US last year imported $346.6 million worth of carbon black, from 26 countries. US industry, meanwhile, exported $342.6 million worth of merchandise to 73 countries.
Overall, the total domestic demand for carbon black within US industry reached was $2.4 billion in 2014, the study also found.
