Omsk Carbon boss sets out carbon black ambitions
London - Russia-based Omsk Carbon is to increase its already large share of the carbon black manufacturing market in Russia by 10-12 percent, according to its chairman Valeriy Kaplunat.

According to the company’s data, in 2013 Omsk Carbon had 41.7-percent share of the carbon black manufacturing market in Russia.
Measures to achieve the ambitious target include putting into operation new facilities at its Volgograd carbon black plant, Kaplunat said in an Q&A interview with ERJ
“By the end of this year, we will add another production line with the actual capacity of virtually 40 kilotonnes. [This will bring] the overall potential capacity of the Volgograd plant to 200 kilotonnes,” said the Omsk Carbon chairman
