Automechanika Kiev 2015 cancelled
Frankfurt, Germany – Event organiser Automechanika has announced that the premier of its show in Kiev planned for 9-11 June has been cancelled due to “the current political situation” in the country.
“We have now made two attempts to enable our customers from the automotive aftermarket to do business in the Ukraine,” explained Automechanika brand manager Michael Johannes.
“Nevertheless, given the situation prevailing there at present, it is impossible to hold the fair at this time,” Johannes added.
The plans called for for the new Automechanika to have been organised by Independent Expo Ukraine, the partner of Independent Expo Automotive BV from The Netherlands, an official licensee of Automechanika Kiev.
