Tokyo – In the day-session trading, on 20 Feb, February prices for natural rubber closed at Yen220.8/kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (Tocom) – up 3.9 percent on the last settlement price.
Rubber futures were on a similarly upward track with gains of over 3 percent in each of the five subsequent months.
Tocom listed figures up to July, when futures prices were up 3.3 percent on the last settlement price to Yen222.2/kg.
