Cologne, Germany – Michelin hit a double whammy at Tire Technology International awards, held on the sidelines of Tire Technology Expo on 11 Feb.
The company’s EverGrip technology won tire technology of the year while Michelin won the title of tire manufacturer of the year.
Apollo Vredestein’s Tandem mixer won the tire manufacturing innovation of the year; Lehigh Technologies was awarded the ‘environmental achievement of the year’ for its micronized rubber powder while Versalis’ elastomer business unit was awarded the tire industry supplier of the year.
The winners chosen by an independent international panel of 21 tire industry experts, according to a news release by TTE organizers UKIP Media & Events.
Tire Technology Expo is held in Cologne, Germany on 10-12 Feb 2015.
