London - Bridgestone has extended a fleet agreement with Arla Foods in the UK to 2018, the tire company announced on 2 Feb.
The companies have been working together in the UK since 2010. Under the renewed contract, Arla would continue to use Bridgestone’s premium tire range and its “total tire care” offering, said a Bridgestone news release.
Bridgestone said its tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and tailored package of support were “major factors” in the extension, with call-out times being reduced by up to 30 percent as a direct result.
The tire maker offers real-time monitoring and analysis of fleet performance and supplies Arla with the most cost efficient tires.
