Berwyn, Pennsylvania – Rubber, plastics and latex materials manufacturer Styron, has changed its name to Trinseo as of 1 Feb. the company has announced.
The new name, it said, reflects how “Trinseo’s technologies and materials play an intrinsic role in the innovative and sustainable solutions that its customers require in developing the next generation of products.”
Chris Pappas, president and CEO elaborated: “Our new name of Trinseo better reflects our breadth as a growing company with broad global reach and a diverse portfolio of materials and technologies.”
The company said it would maintain the gold arrow icon in its new logo, along with its current colour palette and tagline of “Materials. Powering Ideas.”
