Darmstadt, Germany — TrelleborgVibracoustic has appointed Frank Mueller as its new CEO, effective as of 1 June, to replace Hans-Juergen Goslar, who will retire in the first quarter of 2016. Hans-Jürgen Goslar, after a transition period of four weeks, will act as advisor before his retirement in March 2016.
Mueller, said a company statement, joins the firm after serving as vice president and general manager of TRW Automotive’s global occupant safety systems business since 2009.
Between 1996 and 2009 he held various positions at Behr GmbH & Co. KG. He served as the CFO and president and CEO of Behr America for 10 years.
Müller began his career as a consultant and project manager at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in 1991, where he remained until 1996. He has a masters' degree in economics from ESB Business School, Reutlingen and Middlesex University, London.
Also, the company announced that it was reducing the number of its board members from four to three after Lennart Johansson ends his assignment on 1 Feb.
“The management board of TrelleborgVibracoustic will be reduced from four to three members, consisting of chief executive officer, chief financial officer (Norbert Schebesta) and chief technology officer (Jim Law),” said the announcement.
