Tokyo – The Yokohama Rubber Co Ltd. has announced that its Russian passenger car tire production and sales company, LLC Yokohama RPZ, began production of original-equipment (OE) tires for passenger cars in November 2014.
The announcement, released on 14 Jan, said that the plant began producing “Geolandar G91” tires for Nissan X-Trail SUVs made at Nissan Motor’s local facility in Russia.
In December, it began making “BluEarth E75” tires for Nissan Teana sedans made at the Nissan manufacturing Russia plant.
