Houston, Texas. — The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, Inc. (IISRP) has recruited Hyakuro (Bill) Yamane as its regulatory affairs director.
Yamane, who has a law degree from Kyoto University, had a 40 year career at Tosoh Corp. until his recent retirement, said a 6 Jan IISRP announcement.
“I have known Bill for many years as he helped us organise and manage our Chloroprene Consortium and REACH registration so he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the organization”, said James L. McGraw the IISRP managing director and CEO..
Yamane will be responsible for the collection, evaluation and dissemination of global regulatory initiatives impacting the synthetic rubber industry and the coordination of comments among the membership. He is based in Tokyo.
