London - The annual Tire Technology Expo (TTE) conference & exhibition is moving from its established home at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, ERJ has been told.
A spokeswoman at organisers UKIP Media & Events Ltd of Dorking, UK, confirmed that the event will move to Hanover, Germany for 2016 and will be held during 16-18 Feb.
TTE's move is understood to be linked to the surprise launch last year of rival event Tire Cologne. This is scheduled to be debut at the Koelnmesse on 29 May – 1 June 2018.
In a statement, Tire Cologne organiser Koelnmesse said it had attracted the support of the German Tire Retail and Vulcanization Trades Association - BRV (Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk - for the new event.
This year's TTE 2015 will take place at the Koelnmesse on 10-12 Feb.
