Cologne, Germany – German chemical company Lanxess has announced that as of 1 April 2015 the Group Functions Treasury (TR) and Investor Relations (IR) of the company would be merged into the new Group Function Treasury & Investor Relations (TIR).
This new Group Function will be headed by Oliver Stratmann who has successfully headed the IR team since 2008. Christoph Koch, since 2008 Head of the Group Function Treasury, will leave Lanxess at his own request on 31 March in order to pursue a new professional challenge.
“With the appointment of Oliver Stratmann we are able to efficiently merge our financial markets activities and communication under the leadership of a very experienced capital market specialist,” said Lanxess CEO and chairman of the Matthias Zachert.
Effective April 1, 2015 the new Group Function TIR will report directly to the Group CFO.
