Report: Korean refiner to build carbon black plant

Soeul – Hyundai Oilbank, part of Hyundai Heavy Industries, is establishing a carbon black business, according to a Korea JoongAng Daily report.
The Korean oil refiners move is in response to the on-going decline in international oil prices, according to the report.
The company was also cited as saying that it will build a plant in Seosan, South Chungcheong via a newly formed a joint venture with an unnamed company based in Frankfurt, Germany.
