Dunlop Oil & Marine set to start hose plant in Brazil

London – Dunlop Oil & Marine has invested €22 million in the construction of a soon-to-open new hose manufacturing site in Macae, Brazil.
The investment is in response to growing demand for advanced-performance hose products in this sector, said the company - part of the ContiTech division of Continental AG.
The facility, ContiTech Dunlop Oil & Marine Brazil, was completed in October 2014, and will be ready to supply hoses in the first quarter of 2015.
The company said the site is strategically located serve local clients operating at the heart of the Brazilian petroleum industry in Macaé.
The Jan/Feb issue of ERJ magazine will include a report on Dunlop Oil & Marine’s work in the oil & gas industry, including a development with aramid reinforcement supplier Teijin Aramid.
