Bangalore, India – Machine maker REP Int. is establishing a production facility in Bangalore to meet growing demand from rubber injection moulding companies in India.
The unit will give customers in India access “to high-end machinery including expert’s know-how at an affordable price without import taxes,” said the Corbas, France-based company.
The operation will include a dedicated service team to support customer investment projects – particularly in the automotive sector – and provide after-sales service.
The first machines manufactured in this plant are to be shipped to customers’ first half of next year.
REP said it will display a machine made in India at the Indian Rubber Expo in New Delhi from 15-17 Jan 2015.
