Houston, Texas – Arlanxeo, a manufacturer of synthetic rubber and elastomers, is implementing TrendMiner software in all its production facilities on a global basis with a new agreement.
The rollout is based on business value gained at the first sites adopting the analytics software for time-series data, according to an Arlanxeo release.
TrendMiner is a self-service process and asset analytics software provider based in Hasselt, Belgium.
Arlanxeo initially deployed TrendMiner software in 2016 in Europe, and achieved an ROI within the first months of use with a best-practice onboarding approach, the company said.
Based on the results of the pilot programme, Arlanxeo is initiating deployment of TrendMiner software in its two business units.
With TrendMiner, process engineers and operators identify trends in their processes, monitor behavior, send notifications to engineering or control room staff and predict deviations in live processes.
The pilot programmes facilitated new opportunities at other plants, said Jeroen De Wolf, account executive at TrendMiner.
Arlanxeo's industrial analytics journey was presented at the OSIsoft PI User Conference EMEA in London.
